Farm scene, Nr. Hagworth, Lincolnshire. I spotted this scene whilst travelling through Lincolnshire. It was subsequently sold to a buyer in her 80’s who recognised the scene from her childhood!
Thames Barge, Malden. This majestic barge sailing in the evening light on the River Orwell, seen whilst travelling through Essex.
The blue sail in Venice seen whilst crossing one of the many Venetian bridges. This beautiful eye-catching sail was a subject calling out to be painted.
‘Sunflower’ at Purbeck Lock. This attractive adorned narrow boat, with owner and dog patiently waiting nearby, came into view just as I was painting this scene – irresistible! Painting subsequently sold to the boat owner.
